Wine Characteristics
After a soft pressing, the must is cold worked and filtered in order to maintain the typical characteristics of Moscato. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The sweet and characteristic flavor derives from a partial fermentation of the must.
Straw yellow in color, it is characterized by a wonderful scent of peach, mango and floral notes of honeysuckle and sage. The taste is sweet, soft, with a pleasant freshness. Suggested serving temperature is 6°-8°C (43°-47° F) uncorking just before serving.
It accompanies, in a traditional way, desserts, in particular the spoon desserts and the hazelnut cake. The sweet spicy contrast makes the combinations with Asian cuisine interesting. Very pleasant as an aperitif or picnic wine thanks to its low alcohol content.
