Wine Characteristics
Assembly of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with partial drying of the grapes. The drying gives a greater concentration of perfume and sugars. Destemming and fermentation with maceration on the skins for at least 10-12 days in steel tanks with periodic pumping over. After aging in precious oak barrels, Panta rei shows itself in its elegance and power.
Intense ruby red wine. Persistent aromas of blackberry and plum with spicy notes of chocolate. it expresses its pleasantness as a young wine but can endure an aging of several years, showing its decisive character.
Elegant, velvety and rich, it is the ideal accompaniment to red meats and tasty cheeses. Suggested serving temperature is 18°-20°C (64°-68° F) uncorking preferably at least 1 hour before serving.
